Before I went to Germany for two weeks (didn't made a post about it... you don't even have to take a look), I had a job interview in Campolide, for a business company, that provides services for money remittances to over 30 countries. Like I was going to Germany, I wasn't really looking forward for the job, because most of all, I wanted my holidays.
When I was in Germany they called me from the branch I went and told me, that they were interested in me. After telling about my current status, they said, that I should give a call, when I would be back in Portugal. And so I did. And now I am working. After ten months of unemployment and doing nothing, I have a job again.
At first, it seemed to be a very nice occupation, because I would be able to speak a lot of different languages and because my collegues are very nice. But today, for the last hour we started with the REAL thing and I can tell that its EFFING HARD.
Imagine someone calling you and telling you in a language you do not understand that they want to send money. That was what happened. It's a new office, where I am working at, so the technological part isn't already the way it should be and we are using a "to-get-by-system", with which I am not able to transfer to someone that is able to speak that language. It's a TOTAL panic attack!!! I never thought, that I would be in such a stressful situation.
Still I guess, that this is only like this for the beginning, because I'll still have to go back to the "working-status" and it'll take some time to. Hardest part: Not sleeping enough and still have to keep my "daily-social-life"... I'm tired. I really am and I would like to chill at the weekend. [Even though there is going to be the biggest party of the year in Lisbon -.-]
Also I'm trying hard to save some money. As I'm not getting THAT MUCH of a salary and as I'm not one of the most economally people [even though I've been to an economy school], it's harder to get along with money than I EVER thought. I wanted to go to a gym, that is directly in front of my office, which would be perfect, because I could go there after work to work out, swim or just to have a sauna. BUT it is too expensive [being 72 € per month], so I guess I'll take the 57 € - not as good - version, which isn't really on the way home. But sometimes we need to care about money too, don't we? I hate people that are irresponsible with their money, that do work, have their own remuneration and still ask for the help of mommy and daddy. What is worse, is people that would have time to work, but don't do it and so they have to ask for money to mommy and daddy [which was what I did... and it really was pissing me off, because it wasn't at all what I wanted. But I had to do it, because I wasn't able to find a job (blame the crisis!)].
I'm also trying to save some money in a lot of other ways: buying cheaper cornflakes instead of the super-dooper-mainstream-commercial-ones, smoking less/not buying cigarettes, drinking less coffee, etc etc etc etc etc and I HATE IT. But don't we have to go through this?
Sometimes we need to know how hard it is, to live with your own money, to pay the rent and everything by your own self. I recommend that to everyone, because THEN you know how hard it is, to get and save money.

3) A song that makes you happy
As I'm not that much in a "happy-mood", I'm not really able to figure that out, so today I will go for another topic and I'll answer this question, when I'll be able to.
So I decided now... as for a stressed person sex is a good solution... that I would show you the song I'd like to listen to having sex at the moment. [And holy God I really need to get laid!]
I LOVE IT

ReplyDeletewelcome to the nice life of saving and counting cents.. weee x\

Yey, don't you love having to stop doing things to save money? :P
So true, so true! I like the last part the best, it made me giggle. Oh, Alex! I didn't know you blogged! YAY!
ReplyDeletehmm, i really do understand you.
ReplyDeleteand i had a conversation with a really "wealthy" girl compared with me, ha XD(getting 700euros from her parents without working for it)and still doesn't get along with it. for me, it'll be getting worse in the next months, so i can understand your mood and point of view!!!
but some people won't get into this situation
the only advice is, be proud of yourself getting along with your own money and don't care about the others- just makes you kinda jealous
