Yesterday my parents accompanied me to Torres Novas to meet my sister and her husband, to drive with them to Lisbon... I took the old Fiat Uno from my father (you know... Lisbon is a big city, I prefer to have a crash with the old Fiat, than with my Polo baby) and my brother in law took his Mercedes. So we were on our ways to Lisbon.
When my sister and I arrived, it was a big mess to get to my aunts' appartment, because ... you know, I had no idea where I had to drive and my sister is scorpion (= a little ticking bomb).
But well, we arrived and that is the point that matters. So yesterday I just put away my stuff, decorated my room (which by the way is squarish!) in typical Alex mania and met Catia at the Amoreiras shopping centre for a Coke and a delicious salame de chocolate (my first one since I'm in Portugal!). I was really tired so I went to bed at around ten p.m.
Second Day
In the beginning of the day I was at home doing some Lisbon researches on the internet. Schoolstuff and so on. In the afternoon I met Sergio (a friend of mine) and we were walking around in Lisbon. So, just for the record... I live in Campolide and walked to Chiado, which is like very very distant... and back again. But it was nice, because I saw a lot of nice places here in Lisbon. Now I really know, that it was the right decision to come to Lisbon, because it is beautiful :)
When I arrived at home, I had to park my car in a different place, because I was parking on a dutiable lot. So my aunt and me were looking for a good lot (which is almost impossible in this city) and after a couple of time we found one! The problem was, that there was a big inclination, so I had to parallel park with this BIG inclination. As if it wasn't difficult enough to park parallel ... no there was this inclination. But well... after two or three engine killings I MADE IT.
Just for the record...
But well... now I'm in bed... with hurting feet and kinda tired. Very nice first day... hoping for more.
Ps: My view out of the squarish bedroom
and this is the view I had in Cardigos
choose the better one... i guess I'll need both
