I came to Cardigos (the place where my parents live) on Monday night (I've spent the weekend at my friend Claudjinhas' house). When I arrived I met with two friends for coffee and cigarettes. I picked up Anita at her house (see picture A) in Carvalhal (village close to Cardigos) - scratch: impossible!, because I didn't came close to a wall.
After that we drove to Cardigos. She had to talk to a person before, so I drove to that persons' house, but left the car on the street, because I didn't want to park next to the houses (see picture B) - scratch: almost impossible.
After that we drove to the place where we met the other girl. On the way the scratch MIGHT have happened, because people park their cars on the middle of the streets which makes it almost impossible to drive past them. But I really don't think, that it happened there.
Then we arrived at the firemens' place (where we always drink coffee) and I parked like this (see picture C) - scratch: TOTALLY IMPOSSIBLE! also when we went home again... the possibility of getting into anything is ridiculously impossible, because there was nothing where I could get into.
Then I drove Anita home again (same situation as in picture A) - scratch: once again... nope.
When I arrived home I left my car like this (see picture D) with the right side of my car to the street.
What I imagine now is that someone that was driving hit my car on the right side. (This is totally possible because people drive way too fast on this street.)
I think that it is really really really really impossible (98% of certainty), that I made this scratch. Now it is pissing me off that my father says that I did it. I wouldn't say that I am the best driver, because I already had a few car accidents, but THIS TIME I am really sure that it wasn't me.
I think that either it happened the way I already said or my father was the responsible person, because when I am away sometimes he drives with my car. If he was, I am very sure, that he didn't notice it, because he never would say that I did it, when he would know that he was.
But it is really pissing me off that he, even after I told him that it was quite impossible, still says that I didit and that I don't know how to drive.
Plus:
I am really getting sick of my parents because of this kind of stuff. One of the main reasons why I wanted to go to Lisbon was to become independent and to stand on my own two feet. But as we all know: no job = no money = no appartment, which makes me still live at my parents' house. It's just that all those things (saying that I'm irresponsible, that I drive too fast and without paying attention, that I shouldn't be sleeping til 12 o' clock (when I really don't have nothing to do), that I waste too much money, etc etc etc) are contributing to the fact that I really want to move out of this place, to get a job (which I tried but had to realize that was quite impossible without finishing college) and to live my own life without having them telling me what I should do and how I should live. I can't say that I have bad parents, because I think that I got one of the greatest couple I could imagine, but sometimes they act in the most bothering, inadequate and silly way I could imagine.
it seems like nothing has changed from your life back in germany =(
ReplyDeletei'm sorry hearing that,
and i feel even more sorry due to the fact that you can't realize your aim, being independent because of the working-situation in portugal.
you know, sometimes i think it would have been easier for you if you'd stayed here.(however, that doesn't mean that your choice was wrong!)
but you shouldn't give up- if you believe in that you want to live your life the next few years in lisbon to get your career started -
don't give up your dream.
think of: with every stone , put in your way, no matter how big or small, you can build your own palace!
try to use this experience to grow more and more.
i do know how you feel!
if i could i would find you a well-paid job and an appartment;-)
i miss you so much!
anyway, only 15 days until we have our reunion =)
love you and don't forget to keep your head held high! d.m.

ReplyDeleteinfelizmente a LG não deve vir a Portugal não, pelo menos este ano. e também, se era pra vir ao RiR mais valia não vir. Prefiro vê-la num espectáculo só dela :)

Well, parents can be a pain in the ass, you know. But they are always there for us.
